Every year on the night before Dec. 5th our kids line up their shoes in the kitchen before going to bed. Then in the morning they find dutch treats in their shoes. This is an actual dutch tradition, and we think it is fun...even Bryan and I participate, because really, who can resist a chocolate letter?? Here are some pictures of excited kids...and this is what they (we) ate mostly for breakfast (along with a yogurt for good measure)...no oatmeal for us this morning (Grandma Sarnia will be happy to hear that!)

We do this, too, Susanne. Isn't it so cute to have all those little shoes lined up?
We celebrated SinterKlaas early this year when all my sisters and brothers were home. We all still get together and have this tradition. It is nice to have those little traditions.
Cool! We enlarged Keegan's pic & his nose is awful!! EEK! Glad it's getting better! D
